There are so many things that I wish I would have known about infertility, years ago when we first started trying. There are so many things that I wish someone who had traveled this road would have told me. So many prayers that seemed to go unanswered, because I hardly even knew what I was praying for. When I first started this blog, I did so as an opportunity to share my story. it was like therapy for me on so many levels and I had no idea it would turn into a book. I also had no idea how many amazing people I would meet along this journey. My goal when I started out was to help others know that they are not alone, and instead I’ve been shown again and again that I am not alone. I have been blessed back. People have taken this blog, which I love so much and hold so dearly, and have shared it-the highest form of compliment.
One of the places that I have been oh so lucky to have been mentioned is at My Hopeful Journey. The girls there have dedicated so much of their lives to creating resources and sharing the stories of other women and couples that have or do struggle with infertility. This summer they have been working so incredibly hard to broaden the opportunity to share resources. You may remember me mentioning the 2013 Summer Reading list that they put together. Now they’ve gone a step farther and made a compilation of resources called The Girlfriend’s Survival Guide. It’s made up of ebooks, calendars, support guides and a bunch of other amazing things. They even made an iPhone ap! (now if only I had an iPhone :). Here’s a brief synopsis of what’s inside:
