On Monday my family had the pleasure of going to some friends’ house for a celebration of advent. We had soup circa recipes of London, Turkish delight, and watched The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Why such an odd celebration of Advent you ask? Well, when it all comes down to it, it’s not so odd at all. My friend’s church is doing a study by C.S. Lewis for the Advent season, and this was a great way to kick it off, and spend some family fun time as well.
