I’m so glad you’ve come to join us here. My name is Marcy, and this little site is my cyber-baby. I started writing the blog as a way to work through the journey of infertility that my hubby and I have faced. Let me tell ya, it hasn’t been an easy road. My faith has been tested more than once, and it still is. But I have also been blessed beyond measure. I still have a lot to work through, but I’m learning and growing each day. Some days are better than others, and some days I cling to a thread of hope. What started as a way to process and find healing has turned into a book, and No Maybe Baby is published and hit the shelves in September of 2013! (you can order it through the links over there on your left 🙂 I am so excited to share my story, and hopefully bring some hope and awareness to an issue that is so painful.
I’ve also recently published my third book, Temporary Home, which is a novel that discusses love, loss and redemption. Check it out over on the Books page.
In addition to writing, I’m also a nurse, wife and mom. The hubs and I have four amazing kids who joined us through the beauty of adoption. Our experience with our oldest three is through foster care, and though it was a rough road, we have been blessed with so much joy! Our newest member of the family joined us at birth, through a private adoption. It was a totally different experience, and we are enjoying all the firsts that come with a new babe.
I hope that you enjoy your visit. To really get a feel for my mission and my story, start at the first blog, The Beginnings. Feel free to grab a cup of coffee and a piece of chocolate and stay awhile! I look forward to comments and emails and would love to chat with you. Feel free to connect with me here, on Facebook (No Maybe Baby ), Twitter (@MarcyNellHanson) and don’t forget to check out my boards on Pinterest!. Above all, please share with others. Infertility is such a long and lonely road, I would love to be a resource for anyone out there. Even if it’s just as a reminder that you’re not alone.
Welcome friend, I am so happy to have you here.
